About Me
Hi, my name’s Angel! I’m an Interaction Designer based in Los Angeles, CA. I’m a self-proclaimed multi-hyphenate doing my best to add even more hyphens. Currently, I’m a student at Santa Monica College’s Interaction Design BS program. I also work part time in the UCLA English Department’s TXT/TECH Digital Media Lab for art direction & virtual production.
My previous background and experience in healthcare led me to have an eye for detail and observation and a heart filled with empathy. I’m still involved in these communities through families and friends. Born in the Philippines and raised in LA, the world has granted me a variety of experiences that inform my passion and perspective.
I’ve developed many different skills so that I can proudly say I’m a designer-research-creator-progammer-caretaker-writer-filmmaker. Deep down, I’m just a girl who wants to make a positive impact in my community, and I’ve found I best do that in the field of design.
